Step 1 — Download the Extension
- Click the Download Extension button above
- A file called
ocm-po-fetcher.zipwill download to your computer - Find the zip file (usually in your Downloads folder)
- Right-click the file and choose Extract All (Windows) or double-click it (Mac)
Important: You must unzip the file before continuing. Chrome cannot install the extension from inside the zip.
Step 2 — Install in Chrome
- Open Google Chrome
- In the address bar, type
chrome://extensionsand press Enter - In the top-right corner, turn on Developer mode (flip the toggle switch)
- Click the Load unpacked button (top-left area)
- Browse to the folder you unzipped in Step 1 and select it
- You should see OCM Holman PO Fetcher appear in your extensions list — make sure it is enabled (the toggle is blue)
Step 3 — Fetching a PO Document
Before you start
- You must be logged into the Holman Portal in another Chrome tab
- You must have a job open in the OCM app that has a PO Number
To fetch
- In the OCM app, open a job and go to the Details panel
- Click the blue Fetch PO Document button
- Wait for it to complete (this may take 30–60 seconds)
- When done, the PO Document will automatically download and open in a new tab
Troubleshooting
"Holman portal tab not found"
Make sure you have the Holman Portal (vendor.holman.com) open in another Chrome tab and that you are logged in.
"No PO Number found"
The job you are viewing does not have a PO Number assigned. The PO Number is required to fetch the document.
Button does not appear
Refresh the page and wait for the job details to fully load. If the button still does not appear, go to
chrome://extensions and make sure the extension is enabled.
"Failed to fetch" or red error message
Try again. If the error persists, log out and back into the Holman Portal, then retry. Some PO Numbers may not have a document available yet.
